Star Live Show
Thousand thanks to lyssa for giving me the 7 zone (which is just right in front of the stage) concert ticket. I've got a great viewing position. Phewww... the artists were just 1 meter away from me~
To avoid the traffic jam, my friend and I left much earlier. It was only 7.10pm when we reached Stadium Bukit Jalil. One and a half hour to go... and the front zones were almost filled... OMG. Some of them waited since 3pm, as if they had nothing better to do besides waiting for their beloved idols. Hmm... Am I satirizing the 3-years-ago-me?
It was a live broadcast show, so it was started on time. The 4 memang-tak-boleh-hosts had failed to set up a jolly atmosphere. They could neither spontaneously initiate laughter nor preparatively present humor. Whenever there's a moment of silence, they said nothing else but to ask the audiences to cheer n scream n cheer n scream n cheer n scream n... cheer n scream till not high anymore =.=
The artists hyped up the scene though ^^
It's show time!!!
I can't remember the whole rundown of the show.
I have taken photos for the memorable ones and left out the
好心一早放开我~~~ She looks so different in person. Much prettier~
大嘴巴 - a new hip hop band in Taiwan. Remember 爱纱? She's one of the member in Sunday Girls MANY years ago. Now she's the female vocal of this band. I thought she's cute, but she's damn hot!!! She danced seductively and sang sexily.
Guys, I guarantee your nose will bleed~
Oh yea... As her skirt was soooooo short, I heard some of the guys around were exclaiming: 'Wah! Can see or not, can see or not? Neh... the panties ar... Cannot breathe lor!!'
Perverts.
Who's this? Yesh! It's her! It's her!Yeshhhh... She's Penny Tai! The talented composer cum lyricist cum singer cum dancer!
Her performance with 易杰齐 has brought us to another dimension of music. The blend of 好久不见and街角的祝福was..was... was... Argh... Sorry, my vocabs are too limited. 非笔墨能形容.
Yep! The classic Grasshoppers. I saw Anita Mui - the facial expressions and body movements - in them.Oh ya... JNK (a Malaysia
He sang pretty crap lar. His verse was not heard all the time. I think the key was too low for him. Why not switch to a higher key then? Maybe he couldn't hit the high notes? :P
So, why did I bother to take his photos?
Haha... Cos it is specially dedicated for Natasha - your christmas present. kekeke
And I also have to admit that he is pleasant for viewing purpose~ hohoho
.

.
.
And the best ones came last.
I Love You~~~
David Tao!
His music told everything.
This was the best moment.
They duet! OMG~~ they duet!
This was their first public duet.
Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Sing a sad song, and make it better......
It was a veritable feast for our ears.
And finally, my favorite Stef Sun!
She could switch her mood between the piquant 咕叽咕叽and the heart-breaking 我怀念的 so well.
有一束光 那瞬间 是什么痛得刺眼
你的视线 是谅解 为什么舍不得熄灭
我逆着光 却看见
Her voice always perfuses a stream of hope into me.
The fall of color flakes and the voice of hope ended the concert with jocund.
Oh ya, there are a few notable singers which I've not taken their photos. 郭静, a new Taiwanese singer, has some really nice songs. Karen Kong, who is active in the Malay music industry, can sing very well. She has an unique and dolphin ranged voice.
And yea nat... although Jay Chow wasn't there, it was still very gooooooooood! Hng!

Update 3
Frankly speaking, I reckon this is not an interesting job (as the interesting and important parts wouldn't be delegated to trainees). It is neither a fruitful one. I didn't learn much for my studies or career.
My lovely colleague, Eunice, changed my perception on this job.
Work, to me, is to be done effectively. Effective means finish my task with highest quality in the shortest time length. Hence, 'finish the job assigned well' has been my ultimate goal. Eunice's short lecture has rang the bell. She made me understand that I've mislocated my goal.
Trace back to my initial thought of taking up this internship, I was hoping to learn something through working in the corporate world. This thought, however, has been abandoned throughout the process. I was trying hard to show that I'm capable and effecient instead of learning for my own good.
A very simple and ostensibly useless job can be a rewarding one. For example, I was assigned to download the annual reports of the public listed companies. I could just download everything like a downloading machine. The alternate way is to read the annual reports while downloading them (of cos, not read the entire thing. The numbers are boring :P).
Through the reports, I understand more about the figure - 20% people in the world control 80% of wealth. The same people repeatingly appear in the board of directors of different companies. It means that this minority of people, also known as the 'elites', are making profit from the majority of the large companies. What about those in the middle-class? Too bad, they are only either the consumers or the minority shareholders. Not to mention those in the grassroot who are lack of the capability to join this capital market.
And blah blah blah... too much can be discovered.
Yesh... keep it up. Continue learning!

Update 2
It was a boring job initially. 'Office boy' can best describe all the tasks that I've been given.
Photocopy, binding, slotting files, arranging meeting tables and chairs...
Oh well, these should be expected in whateva kind of internship. I should be glad that I got paid RM600. Although it is just ngam ngam enough for my transportation fees, it sounds much better as compared to RM150 which I had from my last internship.
The good one comes later. On the third day onwards, I am assigned to more relevant tasks such as research and event write up. And of course, I've known more about my colleauges and got closer with them. It is a learning process.
to be continue...

FYI: KPMG is one of the Big 4, the top four international auditing firms. It is argued that anyone who has worked there will have a glaring future. This statement is only applicable for the full time employees though, not for trainees a.k.a. small potatoes like me.

Had a few enlightening conversations with my friends. It's worth it!
In Conclusion...
I have done my best to explain and she has done her best to digest.
Frankly speaking, I have thought of CBB.
I'm able to live on my own.
As many of them put it, I'm a 'cold' person.
Why should I trouble myself with all these sort of things?
My conscience said no to me, I guess.
I would not, and should not, dissapoint a friend that ranks me on the top of her list.
I would not, and should not, hurt a friend that gives me her 100% trust without the 20 secs hug.
I've taken the last solution despite the reluctance I had.
She has become more mature to understand that friendship doesn't work that way.
Yea, I think we are alright now.
Thanks to all whom gave her advice and comfort.
Thanks to all whom listened to my ramblings.

Deadlock
Different expectations.
Given the fact that I'm a selfish person, it wouldn't be solved.
Sorry.

My friend
I might have not understood her thoroughly.
But I strongly believe that she's virtuous.
Potlucks Overdose 2
No time to write. Let the photos tell the story.
20:40 People are still normal
20:45 Dinner time
Ken's cabbage pork roll - YUM YUM
Weiyuen n Weichi's Bulgogi Wrap - Slurrrp
Nat's Salted Pork - It really tastes good with rice!
Jack's pizza... 没有诚意:(
My Choc Biscuit - see-weet see-weet lar
22:30 People started to get crazy
4 Girls who are still decent. Nat not included.
26 a pek acting cute, again
Mentally retarded
Sean! Dance! Dance!
It's Ken's Geisha time!
Nat's pole dance. Hey, sexier pls!
00:00 People were drunk
Erm... Sheryl, are you alright?
Damien, you're too young for alcohol.
Not decent anymore.
02:00 These are sooooooo wrong!
Ken, were you taking advantage on Damien?
As usual
Chandra, I was just returning your licks~ I'll remember that you said I'm dry. Hmphhh...
03:30 Crazy night ended.
Hey, pls refresh my memory bout our phone conversation.
Potlucks Overdose 1
2 potlucks in 1 week. Crazy people.
The first one was justified by Jingharn's birthday. All of us contributed to her surprise party.
Being the curry girl, Sheryl had performed the most popular dish of the night - curry chicken.
Ken had made Jingharn the most special birthday cake - sushi cake. It was damn delicious. Perhaps Jingharn would never get to blow candles on sushi in the future.
Chandra cooked 'shou-mian' (寿面). She said this dish is a necessity during birthday. So that the birthday girl lives longer? I should name you GRANDMA CHANDRA.
Not to forget Natasha's secret recipe - brocolli n grape salad. As weird as her. It was yummy though :)
Weiyuen and Weichi's bread formed the perfect combination with the curry.
Sean made the dish that ran out the fastest - chinese dumplings. Erm... but I heard they were made by your housemate instead of you wor... :P
Jack W's Bak Kut Teh was heavily 'ingrediented'. It really satisfied my urge for Malaysian food. Oh yea, this is the most notable part of this dish: Buddy and I successfully bluffed Chandra that the herbal soup consists of pig's penis. Chandra hence gave all her food to Nat. After she knew it was a lie, she took everything back from Nat again. Fool Chandra and Poor Nat.
Chengmin's japanese jelly (I dunno what's the actual name lar) was the perfect ending dish for the potluck dinner.
And yea, I made the pasta sauce without pasta. Issshhh....
Thanks to Jack H, Damien and Buddy for all the snacks and drinks.
Hope Jingharn enjoys her birthday despite the fact that she had to hand in her assignment two days after that. :P

Kari
Yesterday was my first day training in UniCurry House. Yesh... with Sheryl's strong recommendation, the boss decided to give me the opportunity. Without handling resume or attending interview. Hoho...
Well, as usual, introduction came first. Introduction to the people, curries, finger food, procedures, and prices. I doubt my ability to memorise all the confusing prices. And I doubt my arithmetic ability as I've kept myself away from maths since 4 years ago. Aiya, being doubtful doesn't help lar. Just Do It.
And my boss thought that my name is 小猫. Thank you so much Sheryl Ng.

Fine Line
I don't know how much tears have flown because of this reason.
No doubt, they love her. So much.
But, they hurt her. So much.
Are they being protective or, simply, possesive?
Tears flow within the fine line.

Teeth Brush
Oh no no no... that sounds so wrong... I shall rephrase it again - My eyes were caught by Sheryl's TEETH BRUSHING PROCESS.
She held a cup in her left hand and a toothbrush in her right hand. She started to brush every corner of her teeth. Yes, literally every corner. All the 8 directions have been brushed. For 3 times at least.
Hey, aren't your gum going to bleed?
And she gargled. I thought she was drinking water. She drank from the cup, and spat out the water. What a proper way of gargling. Almost the same as what we see in the advertisement.
She gargled so many times till I couldn't even count. Maybe she wanted to wash away the blood caused by her hard core teeth cleaning method?
To me, I'll just brush once. The 4 basic directions will do. Of course I'll gargle, but with my bare hands and limited times.
Don't you think the way of brushing teeth really shows the personality of a person?
Hah! Dirty me.
Test 1 2 3
Chandra showed this to me. Very fun. Learn it with your friends!

Doors
My friend amazed me with this metaphor today.
We were commenting on other friends... You know girls... Always have a handful of juicy gossips.
Okay, get back to the main point. The DOOR Metaphor started like this, (I'll keep the names anonymous to avoid defamation... hoho)
S: "I think C has three doors. It's easy to get through her first door. She's so likable and sociable. It's easy to get along with her. But it's not easy to get close to her. She's quite protective to herself. So I think there are only a few people has reached her second door. The third door, perhaps, has not been opened yet."
Me: "Hahaha... that's funny. Since when you've got this kind of weird thoughts... What about yourself?"
S: "I have two doors. I think I've opened my second door to quite a lot of people. "
Me: "What about me? How many doors do I have?"
S: "Hmm... Your's.... three doors... no no no... two doors... no no no... your case is kinda special..."
So towards the end of the conversation, I still don't know how many doors do I have and the level of difficulty to open my door. Haha.
~the discovery of a friend is a process of opening doors~

Review Myself
Being indifferent in most of the things surrounding me causes harm.
A lot of things, to me, are no big deal. I always have this thought. But I'm, again, equalising others to myself. Those things might be important to others. They might take it very seriously. And if I deal it in a perfuntory and di-li-de-li way, I will hurt them so much.
I shall, perhaps, rethink the way I think.

Alcohol overdose
But lately, phew, I really drank a lot. *A comparison to my past-self, not to the alcoholics.
1 year ago, I'll only have a few sips of red wine. Besides my father 'surveillance', I didn't really enjoy drinking too. It tastes bad.
Well, as I am in Melbourne - a city which drinking and party all night - now, I should have a grasp of their culture. Become more expose to drinking, and become more sociable. what an excuse :P
Hmm... so, my journey started here~
I couldn't remember what's the brand of the first beer I drank. Hopefully this is the right one. But I do remember I was drinking with Weiyuen and Jack W in Weiyuen's house. We drained the bottle. Cheers for Weiyuen's birthday!
The second experience was a hard core one.
It was post production party for TAILS. We had a 'pre-drink session' before we get into the club. Sounds so drunken right? Yea, and THANKS to Jack and Sean for giving me those so-called mild shots of vodka. I drank 4 pure shots. Okok... some people might say, "only 4 shots? Shame on you!" But I'm only a new drinker okay......
I was not too drunk. A bit dizzy. A bit too loud. A bit high. A bit repetitive ('Cool, calm, rational' developed here. Hmm... according to my friend's calculation, I've said the line for 24 times).
But this was the point where I started to appreciate drinking. It's not about the taste. It's about the feel~~~ The hyper, that makes you enjoy yourself to the full.
After that, I started to 'feel like drinking' randomly. Thanks for Nat and Chandra. You guys contributed this.
During the holidays, it became worse. Drinking in ppp of Wild Orchids. Drinking in Chandra's house. Drinking in post production camp. Drinking in TSA cocktail party. Walau... although it's only kacang putih for experts and accustomed ppl out there... I think I should give my livers a break.
hehe... but I still have to admit that... drinking with close friends is FUN

Sudden Dinner
1, felt bored for no reason.
2, surprisingly received chandra's instant message.
3, without long thought, I went to her house.
4, Suddenly all of us decided to have dinner at her house.
5, camped in her house again.
Unplanned moments are the best ones.
Starting Point
1. Sharpen my English - since my previous blogposts are all in Chinese
2. Train my will power - since 'maintenance' and 'regularity' are always out of my dictionary
3. Place the non-cool,calm,rational-self
